Centerpiece Ideas#1
Centerpieces are a breeze with a little creativity and some “know-how”. You can get inspired by visiting craft stores, independent merchants, and other places where centerpieces are sold. Crate&Barrel, Storehouse and other stores along this line are full of centerpieces for all occasions. You can open up any leading Bridal , Interior Decorating Magazines and come up with a one of a kind creation.
Nowadays Centerpieces can be one of the most costly items on your list so inviting a crafty friend to share their ideas or just simply doing it yourself you can create a lasting impression and keepsake for your guest. Follow the simple tips and ideas below for creating your own centerpiece.
Tip # 1: You’ve located your centerpiece, but it’s going to cost you $100 per table. Well, take a mental or actual picture and keep it with you cause you’re going shopping! Have in mind stores that sell pieces to your centerpiece or like objects at reasonable cost. Shop for all the items that are needed to complete one (sample). Be sure that the store(s) regularly stock what is needed for your centerpiece. If you only see 1-3 objects to create your centerpiece it is best that you speak with the store personnel and find out the availability. Make sure this isn’t just a seasonal or test product and that it will be around in the event you plan on going with your initial design and you need to make more.
Idea # 1: Non Floral Arrangements
One of the most sought after non floral arrangements also doubles as a GREEN or ECO Friendly arrangement. Notice those weddings with the branches flowing and towering off the tables? Manzanita branches both natural and simulated run around $45 and up and that doesn’t cover shipping! “Come one people! What for…branches?”Â
A cost friendly alternative is regular branches.
Here is what you can do with regular branches:
- Leave as is
- Paint; incorporate the colors of your wedding or use this as a way to invite a 3rd color
- Add paper flowers, table numbers, crystals, small lanterns, or other items that say you
- Roll in glue or spray on glue and roll in beads, crystals or other embellishments
There are many possibilities and you can use your creativity to customize a design all yours! Have fun!
