Affordable Wedding Bands

January 17, 2010 | Author: Leslie, Rings

Rings are the symbol of unity, but if you’re having a wedding with a limited budget, you can choose to wear an inexpensive wedding band for the time being, and then upgrade it later on. The wedding ring you see above is from Golden Mine and is made of 14k yellow gold and measures 4mm in thickness. It’s $149/piece, and to save even more on costs, you might consider asking for sponsors for your ring, or choose to look for a more affordable one for the time being.

Tungsten and Titanium Rings

July 24, 2009 | Author: Sonja, Rings

When shopping for my anniversary bands, I decided on tungsten because it is almost impossible to scratch!  tungsten with the highest melting point of all metalsis hard, durable and dense metal.  Once used only in the industrial  field;  Tungsten is four times harder than titanium. With several styles of bands to choose from and at great prices you will fall in love with this metal over and over again!

If tungsten still isn’t your metal of choice another great find is titanium!  Although not as durable as tungsten; titanium is light weight and is inert which is great for anyone with sensitive skin.  With so many designers choosing to use this metal today, there are limitless possibilities of design across the web!

With both metals you don’t have to worry about tarnish.  These choices are truly affordable for brides with any budget! With cost ranging from $40 and up both are excellent choices for wedding rings.  Right now you can cash in on savings across the web with top retailers of tungsten and titanium rings.

Great Wedding Ring Ideas

July 13, 2009 | Rings, Uncategorized

Wedding rings symbolize the union between two people. More often than not, people don’t take out their wedding rings as a symbol of their loyalty and faithfulness to their spouse. With this in mind, here are some great wedding ring ideas that will help you and your spouse in choosing a ring you’ll want to hold on to forever but won’t cost you a fortune:

  • Consider a simple gold band – they’re classic and timeless. To add a little personal touch to it, also consider getting your names and the date of your wedding engraved to it. Some jewelry shops may offer to do this for free if you buy the rings from them.
  • If you want a ring that’s made out of white metal, do consider white gold. Platinum is usually double the price, but white gold looks almost the same.
  • Talk things over with your fiance. Some jewelry shops offer discounts if you buy the engagement ring and the wedding bands all from them. So ask your fiance where he bought your engagement ring and hopefully you’ll get a discount when you buy the bands from them too!
  • A family heirloom also makes out as a lovely wedding ring. You’ll be wearing something antique and valuable, plus it’s also free!
  • If you’re on a really tight budget, just start out simple. Keep in mind that you’re marrying the person, not the ring! And if budget permits, you can always get a new ring when you decide to renew your vows on your 10th anniversary!
