DIY Place Cards

Place cards are a great way to organize seating for your wedding, particularly during wedding receptions. Instead of going out and buying place cards, you can make one yourself by following these instructions:
- Think of the style of your wedding place card. There are those that look like business cards and need something to stand or lean against on, and there are others that are folded like a tent that stands up by itself. Choose which one you want to use and start from there.
- Use the internet and search for place card templates to make everything faster and easier. You can customize it and add your personal touch after you’ve chosen your template. Consider changing colors to match your wedding theme, change the fonts to the one you like, and even add background images of your choice.
- Choose the appropriate type of paper and print your place cards. If you chose the tent type place card, you will need to choose paper that is a bit thick and sturdy so that it will stand when you fold it in two.
That’s it! Your imagination is your only limit when it comes to designing your own wedding place cards.
