The Cookie Buffet

You can see a lot of different buffets from different occasions and might think that it’s expensive to have one as your wedding favors when actually, it might come cheap if you can make them yourself! I’m fond of buffets and I really enjoy going around the dessert table section and filling my plate with different kinds of pastries, sweets and desserts. Surely your guests would have the same enjoyment when you present your wedding favors in this manner.
The idea:

Learn how to bake simple cookies and ask some relatives to help you out. If you know someone who is fond of baking, request them to assists you since you would be baking a lot. Try having 3-4 types of cookies, from chocolate chip cookies to oatmeal cookies. Choose the cookies that basically have the same ingredients. You can get simple recipe from Homemade Desserts Recipes

Prepare the dough days before the wedding and put it in the fridge. Remember to have a trial one first so you’ll know the outcome of the cookies.

Bake them in tiny small drops so you won’t have to deal with cut ups that would eat up preparation time.

For the presentation, place your cookies on different baskets or jars and place a sign to identify the cookies and eventually inviting guests to dig in.

For take away and transport, use personalized gable boxes. Print out and glue colored picture of you and your partner on it and include a thank you note on the other side of the box. Get this and other ideas from papermart.com.
Surely your guests would have a great time picking up different cookies and putting them to their boxes. Make sure to bake enough cookies for everyone. You can also include simple brownies, small cupcakes and the likes if you want.
