Tips for your Wedding Hair

Ideally, your wedding âget upâ should be in this order: wedding gown, hairstyle and make up, and veil. It is easier to find the right veil after deciding what hairstyle you will be sporting on your wedding day instead of finding the right hairstyle that will match your veil. You might end up with a style that does not suit your face and make up instead.
Plan ahead of time. If you have a certain style that you want to wear on your wedding day, you should allow plenty of time to achieve the look you want and make any necessary changes or repairs if needed. For example, you want to wear your hair short or have a perm or different color and you go to the salon to have it done only to find out later that it does not suit you. If you do these six months or so in advance, you have the time to grow it out and make the necessary adjustments as it gets near the wedding date.
Practice makes perfect. Whether you DIY your hair or have a hair stylist do it
for you, it is best to do several trial runs to see which style will suit you best. You might have searched over the internet or gone through tons of magazines to look for the styles you like but unless you try it on yourself, you are not 100% sure that the hairstyle you chose will be the best for you. It might look great in the picture but not so great on you.
If your hairstylist is a good friend and is invited to your wedding, you can rest assured that you have someone to take care of your hair during the ceremony and reception should there be any hair emergencies with your âdo. But if not, make sure to ask the stylist for tips and tricks that you can do on your own to make sure your hair is at its best on your wedding day.
