Making the guest list can be stressful to many couples planning their wedding. To make it easier, here are important questions to ask yourself.

Are you going for a small intimate ceremony or a large loud one?  When you know the answer, you know how long your guest list should be.

How much are you willing to spend? A lot of guests equals to a lot of money needed. Caterers usually charge per head so you have to trim down your guest list if you are operating on a tight budget.

Will they be able to make it? The date of the wedding should also influence the guest list. Some may be able to attend while some may not.

Where is the wedding and reception going to be held? If for example, you are planning a destination wedding, the distance will be a considerable factor to some of your guests. In addition, you need to know how many people can be accommodated in your venue. The venue can only hold a certain number of people, exceed that and some may have problems with seating.
