Thank You Cards

Sending out thank you cards to people who had given you and your spouse wedding gifts is an appropriate and very sincere way to express your appreciation. Make sure they are personalized, written individually and by hand. This might be a long task to complete but consider it well worth the effort when you imagine how touched the recipients will be when they read your card. It is considered bad taste to send out machine printed and generic thank you cards, making the person you sent the card to feel they and their gift did not merit a personal effort from you.
Here are some good examples you may be able to get inspiration from.
My dearest Jessie,
Joel and I absolutely love the cookware set you gave us. I gave the non-stick frying pan the honor of cooking our very first pancake as husband and wife. I’m looking forward to cooking with the rest.
Thank you!
Hope to have lunch with you soon,
Ann
Dear Aunt Joy,
The crystal cake pedestal is so exquisite. I couldn’t have wished for a more beautiful one. Hopefully by your next visit, I’ll have a cake displayed on it that we can share.
Love you,
Leah
