DIY Wedding Photography Tips – Megapixels

Doing your own wedding photographs can save you tons of money, and if you are wondering if you can do it, here are a few tips to help you do just so.
For starters, if you and your family have digital cameras, you can put them to very good use during your wedding. If you have a 6 – 8 megapixel digital camera, you’re off to a good start since images captured on this type of camera can be blown up to a size of up to 8 by 10 without any distortion whatsoever. The higher the megapixels, the better and larger prints are produced.
Having said so, if you intend on making pictures mostly for your photo album, and perhaps a shot or so that is big, you’re pretty much OK with a 10 megapixel digital camera. Besides, there’s always Adobe Photoshop to edit your pictures, right?
